The Foundation Nutrition Project Manager is the official registered dietician for the Foundation, responsible for evaluating the Foundations menus and recipes for compliance with Life Times nutrition approach as well as current USDA guidelines for the National School Lunch Program. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, article and content writing for marketing, online and parent:group support purposes, as well as supporting the director on special projects relating to school lunch and outreach.

Examples of Work Performed
: Be the authority on all nutrition:related elements of the Foundations School Lunch initiative
: Evaluate recipes and ingredients for compliance with Life Time and USDA guidelines by using the Nutrikids tool
: Write and edit content for Foundation resources (articles, recipes, healthy tips, etc.)
: Support rollout and measurement of school outreach program in all Life Time locations as an extension of the Foundations mission.
: Other designated Foundation program support and oversight as assigned
: Completing other tasks as necessary


Minimum Qualifications
: Four:year college degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or related field
: Successful completion of Accredited Dietetic Internship
: One to three years experience in Nutrition or related field
: Registered Dietitian with state licensure
: One to three years experience in project management

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics:
: Interest and background in food services, particularly in relation to school lunch programs
: Extensive knowledge of dietetics and how to adapt knowledge to practical use in conjunction with school lunch programs
: Excellent customer service skills
: Creative and innovative, with business savvy
: Highly detail:oriented
: Ability to effectively multi:task with tight deadlines independently and within a team environment; collaborative and resilient
: Excellent oral and written communication skills
: Ability to define problems, collect data, draw valid conclusions, implement sound decisions and provide results measurement
: Knowledge of standard office procedures and computer software (Microsoft Office)
